Ballentrae was built from 2015 to 2018 in two phases, by LGI Homes and Lennar. Two-story homes outnumber single-story plans, and many have four or more bedrooms. Ponds and conservation areas wind through the community, and homes that back up to water or preserve tend to draw the most interest.

Amenities

The Ballentrae Clubhouse on Thicket Wood Drive has a resort-style pool. The community also has a playground, a dog park, a park and walking trails.

HOA and CDD

Ballentrae has a low-cost HOA and is in the Ballentrae Hillsborough CDD, which runs the clubhouse. The CDD assessment is billed on the property tax bill. Before you make an offer, I’ll look up the full tax bill for the home.

Rhodine Road leads west to US-301, and Balm Riverview Road runs south to Big Bend Road and north toward Boyette Road. Both routes reach the shopping and services in central Riverview within a few minutes.
