Panther Trace HOA and CDD

Panther Trace has a homeowners association and a Community Development District. The community is actually covered by two districts, the Panther Trace CDD and the Panther Trace II CDD, depending on the section. Both post their meetings, budgets and documents online. The CDD assessment is billed on the annual Hillsborough County property tax bill, while the HOA dues are paid separately to the association. Because the CDD amount varies by section and lot, check the exact parcel on the Hillsborough County Tax Collector site and review the HOA documents before you make an offer. Most of Panther Trace is zoned for Collins PreK-8 School, which covers elementary and middle school grades, and Riverview High School. Commuting from Panther Trace

Panther Trace is a practical home base for a MacDill Air Force Base commute, and plenty of owners here and in the surrounding south Riverview neighborhoods make that drive every day. The usual route is Big Bend Road west to I-75, then north to the Selmon Expressway, which runs across Tampa to its western end near the Gandy Boulevard and Dale Mabry area just north of the base. The same route covers Downtown Tampa. Big Bend Road itself has grocery stores, restaurants and services a few minutes from the front entrance.
